The Grizzly Paw Pub and Brewing Company is a Craft Brewery and Brew Pub located in the heart of the Canadian Rockies. We focus on Fresh food, Fresh beer and Fresh soda combined with engaging service by all of our colleagues. We strive for a memorable experience with all customers through our products and services.

The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for developing and executing social media promotional strategies, sales support media along with creative design projects. 

This position is part-time and based out of head office at the brewery in Canmore.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the design team with creative seasonal beer labels, posters, menus, cocktail guides and merchandise designs
  • Create, execute and manage Social Media Marketing
  • Social media management and monitoring of The Grizzly Paw and Tank310
  • Work directly with local organizations for sponsorships, events, and donations 
  • On site coordination and support with internal events and media coordination
  • Google Business and Apple Connect updates
  • Ongoing website content updates as required
  • Implement social media SEO tactics aligned to keyword and SEO strategies
  • Review Google Analytics monthly and share with department heads
  • Keep up with the latest and emerging trends in social media & performance marketing and share these with the digital strategists and other team members



QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION:

  • Relevant post-secondary education and 2+ years hands on experience managing social media channels and executing organic and paid social campaigns
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of all relevant social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Snapchat and other emerging technologies
  • Experience utilizing social media management, publishing, advertising (specifically Facebook Business Manager, Twitter Ads Manager and LinkedIn Ads Manager) and monitoring tools to understand performance to continually improve and optimize to generate conversions 
  • Experience with running hands-on social media campaigns, social media budgets, social ad buys, social video and stories, target audience segmentation, social media pixels and retargeting/remarketing all within various social media platforms
  • A strong team player who is adept at building relationships and collaborating to achieve shared goals 
  • Excellent communication, consulting, presentation and writing skills 
  • Experience with Social Media Strategy is an asset 
  • Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
  • Experience with Adobe Suite is an asset
