The Grizzly Paw Brewing Company is looking for an organized, detail-loving, people-friendly superstar to join our Brewery Team as our Brewery Coordinator. Based out of our brewery in beautiful Canmore, you will be the hub that keeps deliveries, reporting, invoicing, inventory, and brewery administration running smoothly.
If you love keeping things organized, enjoy solving puzzles, and get a weird amount of satisfaction from a perfectly balanced spreadsheet, we should probably talk.
Reporting to the Controller, you will work closely with production, warehouse, sales, finance, customers, vendors, government agencies, and pretty much anyone who has something to do with beer. No pressure. Just the smooth operation of a brewery.
So, what exactly will you be doing?
If you think you have what it takes to earn the title of Brewery Coordinator, here is what you will be responsible for:
Maintain accounts receivable, track and file invoices, and follow up on late payments (someone has to ask nicely for money)
Complete weekly AGLC reporting and associated banking documentation
Maintain production packaging sheets and brewery records
Prepare monthly reports including AGLC, Federal Excise, inventory, recycling, and other regulatory reports
Monitor EKOS invoicing and credit memos
Review daily wholesale invoicing and delivery packages
Prepare weekly brewery bank deposits for beer and soda sales
Open and distribute incoming mail, maintain office supplies, and support brewery administration
Process deposit refund submissions
Complete monthly inventory reconciliations (spreadsheet enthusiasts, this is your moment)
Assist with audit preparation and documentation
Develop and maintain strong relationships with all supporting departments (we like teamwork around here)
Maintain proper audit records and follow company policies and procedures
Follow health and safety guidelines at all times
Consider the environmental impact in all decisions (we like earth too)
Other duties and projects as assigned (translation: every day is a little different)
Perks
Work for one of Alberta's established craft breweries
Beautiful mountain views from your office window
A supportive team that genuinely likes working together (seriously, it is suspiciously wholesome)
Opportunities to learn and grow within the company
Legendary staff events and celebrations throughout the year
Employee discounts and brewery perks
The occasional opportunity to be surrounded by fresh beer (occupational hazard)
A front-row seat to how craft beer gets from the brewhouse to our customers
Did we mention you are working at a brewery?
Must-Haves
1-2 years of experience in an administrative role
Knowledge of basic accounting principles
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Exceptional attention to detail
Excellent organizational skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to make sound decisions and solve problems independently
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
Team-first attitude
Adaptability and flexibility

Experience in a brewery, beverage manufacturing, food production, or related industry
Experience with shipping, receiving, logistics, or inventory management
Experience using EKOS, QuickBooks Online, or the AGLC Online Portal
First Aid certification
An appreciation for craft beer culture
This position is based at our brewery in Canmore, Alberta.
